Startups and members benefit from a networked infrastructure of technology business mentors, coworking spaces, corporate partners, college and university resources, economic development partners, and venture capitalists. VCET ranked #11 globally in the 2013 UBI Index. So far, over 1600 entrepreneurs have been directly assisted.

Needs and wants from our members and companies vary greatly from just our business advice or a space to work to deeper engagement via a direct investment by the Vermont Seed Capital Fund. Managed by VCET, this fund is a revolving, $5 million venture capital fund for select high opportunity businesses and teams. So far, we’ve backed 21 startups and emerging growth firms with this venture fund.
