Apollo SRI, LLC is an early stage company that was developed to commercialize the research of Dr. Christopher Landry, specifically to explore the commercialization opportunities for acid-prepared mesoporous silica (APMS). The initial focus is the use of APMS for chemical separations, and Apollo SRI has received a federal grant to explore the use of APMS in high performance liquid chromatography (HPLC). Additional commercialization opportunities include the use of APMS as a vehicle for drug delivery and the use of APMS as a catalyst to neutralize toxic gases.
