Vermont Center for Emerging Technologies
  All clients and affiliates of VCET have access to the Center’s business library located in Farrell Hall, the University of Vermont Bailey Howe Library located on the main campus, and the College of Medicine’s Dana Medical Library.

The Dana Medical Library offers highly specialized databases for bioscience and medical research. Access to the UVM library requires a CAT Card that is issued to all VCET clients.

Clients have the opportunity to receive help with research from the library staff along with the extensive collection of books, periodicals, multimedia equipment, online research subscriptions, and media.
  Through an affiliation with the University of Vermont, the Center’s clients and affiliates are offered access to some specialized equipment and prototype development services.  Though the outreach program, VCET has set up relationships with UVM departments and professors allowing supervised training sessions on their specialized equipment.  
  The Instrumentation and Model Facility (IMF) is a division of the University of Vermont Instrumentation and Technical Services.  The IMF is the centralized source for custom instrumentation design, development and fabrication.  They provide the most innovative, high quality, cost effective and timely custom instrumentation services available for the university research and academic community.  The staff at IMF can either take your ideas and basic requirements and turn them into an instrument, or fabricate apparatus from your detailed specifications and drawings.
