Vermont Center for Emerging Technologies
  The Vermont Economic Development Authority (VEDA), created by the
General Assembly in 1974, is Vermont's economic development finance
  lender.  Over the years, VEDA has provided over $1.2 billion in financing assistance to thousands of eligible Vermont entrepreneurs, manufacturers, agricultural enterprises and corporate citizens, helping them to realize their business growth goals, create jobs, and enhance the vitality of Vermont's economy.

The Mission of the Vermont Economic Development Authority shall be to contribute to the creation and retention of quality jobs in Vermont by providing loans and other financial support to eligible and qualified Vermont industrial, commercial and agricultural enterprises.

VEDA has provided low interest business loans to two VCET clients to date, and are strong supporters of VCET’s mission.
